Improvement is something we all strive for in various aspects of our personal and professional lives. Most of the time we look to make improvements to things that are not working as expected or aren't up to our standards in some way.

However, in a business setting it's important to also make improvements to things that are working just fine but could be improved upon to save time and money–a process referred to as Continuous Improvement (CI). CI methodologies such as 8D, Lean or Six Sigma are often employed to improve existing processes and procedures. But sometimes it's hard to know where, and how, to start making improvements. KT methodologies are use to prioritize and provide the "how" to execute on CI projects.
