Takeshi Sato, Regional Managing Director, Japan

Takeshi Sato is responsible for Kepner-Tregoe’s operations in Japan. Also known by his middle name Ken, he brings a wealth of management experience and functional knowledge acquired through over 25 years of experience in industry. Having spent almost half of his life overseas, Takeshi is in the unique position to understand the needs and challenges of Japanese corporations expanding overseas as well as global corporations conducting business in Japan.

Prior to joining KT, Takeshi was the head of the Japan operations for Sensata Technologies, a world-wide leader in sensors for automotive and industrial applications, with responsibility for the automotive business for all of Asia. Previously, he has also held senior management positions in a Japanese automotive electronics manufacturer as well as a telecommunications startup in the U.S. Takeshi started his career with a major Japanese auto manufacturer, where he held key positions in product planning, sales and marketing, business planning and operations.

Takeshi holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from the University of Tokyo.
