Position Summary

The purpose of the Regional Marketing Manager’s position is to provide input to global marketing planning and to lead projects that implement the corporate brand and industry practice strategies within Asia Pacific as well as lead regional marketing campaigns.  Responsible for executing a full range of promotion and direct marketing plans to ensure the company’s brand integrity, increase brand awareness, positioning, and alignment to its value proposition, including planning, promoting, conducting events, and lead generation campaigns that support KT’s strategies.  This position requires someone who is “hands-on”, proactive, and who will work independently while maintaining close ties to his/her marketing peers worldwide and work as part of a global team.

 

Minimum Requirements – Knowledge and Skills
  • Minimum 5 years marketing experience with key focus areas in
    • Direct marketing
    • Digital/Social marketing
    • Content marketing
    • Lead generation & event marketing
  • Completely fluent in English and Chinese (both oral and written)
  • Demonstrated prior experience working in cross-functional virtual teams
  • Able to work independently with minimal direction; self-starter
  • Able to work across geographies and time zones
  • Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written communication
  • Ability to influence and effectively use resources (internally and externally)
  • Prior experience demonstrating creativity and innovation
  • Computer Proficiency:  Microsoft Office Suite, including Project (intermediate level)
  • Travel 15-25%, including international travel, day trips, and overnight stays (intercontinental travel is limited)
  • Lives within commuting distance to KT’s Kuala Lumpur office
  • Flexible to work outside of normal business hours as needed, i.e., evenings, weekends, etc. 
Additional – Knowledge and Skills
  • Marketing experience in professional services industry; prefer direct marketing and/or event marketing
  • Professional qualification, preferably in marketing or business-related field
  • Experience working with and purchasing graphic arts services, including design and printing services
  • Documented success in developing and executing market planning that produced measurable results
  • Proven ability to manage projects and develop relationship-building skills
  • Experience in selecting, coordinating, and negotiating with vendors
  • Held positions requiring excellent leadership, interpersonal, relationship-building, and supervisory skills
  • Ability to learn quickly, acquire, and apply knowledge of Kepner-Tregoe products/services and processes
  • Ability to recognize and evaluate effective business and promotional writing and design
  • Experience in conducting market research and analysis
  • Financial literacy, including the development of marketing plans, forecasts, and budgets
  • Familiar with direct marketing tools like Exact Target
  • Experience working in situations requiring detail orientation, strong follow-up and organizational skills
  • Able to handle fast-paced environment, including multi-tasking and working under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Eagerness to operate within a regional/global team
