Single-Issue Resolution—Facilitation

Kepner-Tregoe processes provide a time-tested framework for managing an organization’s critical issues. Experienced KT facilitators are available to help client teams to systematically resolve key organizational issues. Issues that benefit most from facilitation are typically those with one or more of these characteristics:

• High financial impact
• High visibility
• High potential conflict
• Critical time factors
• Prospects for success.

Few issues meet all of these criteria, but those that meet even one benefit from expert facilitation. Examples might be: resolve a quality defect that is causing a loss of $2,000 per day; to select a design for a new $10 million wastewater treatment system; or to consolidate departments in a newly merged company.

The KT facilitator provides impartial leadership and advanced expertise using our logic-based processes. He/she guides the team charged with resolving an issue using process questions. The facilitator helps the team gather, organize, sort, analyze and record information. The facilitator maintains objectivity regarding the issue at hand, helps the group to work better together and keeps the team on task.
