Kepner-Tregoe Forms Global Partnership with OptimumFX
To Provide Production Line Improvement Services
Companies Combine Services to Offer Complete Productivity Improvement Package
Princeton, NJ – September 2008– Kepner-Tregoe (KT), a global provider of consulting and training operational improvement solutions and service, today announced their global partnership with OptimumFX, a European provider of manufacturing productivity analysis systems and improvement services. They are partnering to offer a complete production line improvement service to customers worldwide.
Under the agreement, the companies will combine OptimumFX’s LineView software solution with KT processes in order to identify the real causes of productivity loss on production lines. Through this partnership, OptimumFX and KT will offer a complete productivity improvement package, with a primary focus on Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
The LineView system, which is based on 6 Big Losses1 and Theory of Constraints2 principles, ensures that teams identify real losses and output resources to fix the problems. KT processes are structured approaches that manage human performance and resolve business issues.
Announcing the global partnership, KT CEO Andrew Graham said, “Combining forces with OptimumFX on production line services enhances our ability to deliver and embed positive operational change. The data captured by LineView, in combination with our advanced issue resolution and human performance improvement methods, provide a holistic solution for production line improvement.”
The partnership will initially target the existing KT and OptimumFX customer base of automated food and beverage manufacturing facilities in Europe and Australia, with longer term plans of supporting customers in the USA.
